Do you rate Anton Ferdinand?

Me and my mates who went to the other night's match were discussing our opinions on Anton, and we seemed to be divided on him. What do you think?

When (if) he's fit he's our best defender. McShane dives in and over-commits to challenges far too much.

I'd be hard pressed to think of anything he's done all season that's been less than God-like.

If he was able to stay fit he'd be a contender for best player at Reading in the past 15 years.

He never has to move much because he is always already in the right place. He never seems to do much because he's already anticipated what needs doing and so makes it look simple.

He is awesome. Why is there no option for that in the poll.

Really needs to be paired with a partner with pace as his own has gone.

Probably our best centreback when fully fit. Just a shame he's carrying various knocks.

So you've forgotten about his first touch back after injury where he miss controlled the ball and let the oppo in to score.

Was that the one when the ball was passed beyond him? the one where he was in the right place, was given a totally inept pass, leaving a gap for the op to run into? No, if that's the one you mean, I haven't forgotten. Huddersfield's first goal in the League. At the time it looked like he had maybe made a mistake. When you saw the highlights it was clear he hadn't.

He'd lose comfortably to Daniel Carrico.

Quality when fit at this level. Not atheletic enough to cope in the PL so likely to be a liability there thes days.

That, friends, is the statement of someone who needs to be kept in a padded cell with no outside interaction for the rest of his life.

Some of the stuff I read on here never ceases to amaze me.

Assured, solid and well positioned when needed to be tho'

Never used to...when he played for WetSham and the likes, but now I like him
