He had every chance to get it right this season and get us into the play-offs (or better), he got no reaction from the players, reasons could be many and various, we don't know, but it falls at his door. I said at the time it was a lack lustre appointment & he looks out his depth against very ordinary teams ...

Dave-Royalpercy_freeman Love or hate him, Hammond was a Royal, I know, not no Dave Royal, that he probably let a few players go cheap ie Alex Mcarthey, Alfie. But he got good money for old rope in Pearcy and Blackman who can't even get a look in where they went. There is obviously something not right behind the scenes at our club. I am not one to speculate or spout shite like many on here do, I have supported Reading for 48 years and hopefully another 40 ish years to come but things ain't right....
mate I be supporting reading over
35 years. and McDermot what to cut his squad to 25 players. in summer
why do fans get rellay upset if reading fc not doing well. I still
support them, win lose or draw
it only a game of football mate
not end of the world. may be reading won't go up next season but McDermot will build, team . I be happy for top 8 next season.,

Sutekh Perhaps another PANTS type day should be at the forefront of next season only aimed at the board rather than the players and management. Have to be timed to coincide with the game that the board attend of course...
