Agree with this. They are playing Fulham next, and will be one of those extremely rare occasions when I'll be supporting Fulham

Fulham, Preston, Sunderland and Boro all away in that run to 14 games, if they win 14 in a row they've well and truly earned it and frankly would probably threaten 106 as well if they could do that.

Well the 13 wins from the start of a league season is safe for another year after only 6 games.

Bit of a non- entity because they only start with a target of 114, but only 7 remain in the Premier League that can achieve 106

As for the rest of the EFL, we won't lose any from the list until at least 12 games in and that assumes someone's lost the lot, which of course they haven't yet.

Bolton are trying their best to be first - even they've got to lose another 3 to come off the list.

Looks like Wolves the only realistic danger to the 106 this year.

Bet365 were offering a paltry 7/1 on them to do it before Monday night's game.

Wasn’t overly impressed by Wolves when we played them, but they seem to be able to not play that well and still pick up points, a useful skill !
They look to have some significant weaknesses - the defence looks vulnerable with the big donkey (Boly) very weak and the keeper less than commanding. We didn’t really hit form until about this time in our record season so who knows what will happen. Of course they may chuck loads more money at it in January, I enjoyed our success being built on cheap punts and players no one had heard of !

Wolves because they are fresh in the memory and Newcastle because they are a big club who everybody likes (allegedly).

They will. Expect a few PL level loans if not outright purchases. Love to see them blow up having squandered zillions on trying to get out but can't see it.

Bear in mind 85/86 when Reading had got to 60 points by the xmas period (or just after) and then went just very average form and only managed another 30 or so points from the second half of the season. So while Wolves may well be more or less home and hosed by the new year they could still go a bit wobbly and not quite be the expected force for the rest of the season (hopefully) while still winning the league.
