Very much this! Managed to recreate a proper old school Blue Army at Barnsley away at Christmas and nearly killed myself in the process, not as young as I used to be.

Say what you like about Pardew (and then Coppell) but he often served up a good away day. Even if you didnt literally know most of the away crowd back then, you recognised them. Id answer a Blue Army from any of them. Youd even get the odd "Cmon U Royals" at corners. Something else that has died out.
