A quick note first,

I have entered details for all games up to QPR and Norwich. Those I hope to do today. It takes a LOT of work. I was quite shocked but that took all day yesterday. Usually it's done in dribs ad drabs and doesn't seem so bad!

In the case of my own predictions they HAVE been posted here (as SnowballRG19) but went to moderation and are invisible to me. In some cases I know exactly what my prediction was (goal-times by halves but not exact times) and I will try to find a way via Graham to see those old predictions and adjust my marks accordingly.)


USUAL RULES, Full marks for perfect format (because it speeds up entry). First Team to Score must be formally declared. Winning or drawing from behind must be formally declared. Entries up to 23:59 the day before, correctly formatted, get a total of 13 Bonus Points. Entries on the day get less. Entries after team announced start off without 8 of those 13 points (the other 5 are for format).

The most extreme incorrect prediction gets -3 points. Example, you say Brentford will win 4-0 and RDG draw or sneak 0-1. This was designed to discourage silly predictions. IF you are an outlier (eg 5-0 or 0-4) and you are RIGHT, you get a bonus of 5. That has only happened once in the God knows how many years we've done this.

Occasionally (this game is an example) we might all be expecting a big home win for the opposition, but half a dozen have punted for a sneak away win 0-1. Because that is close and nobody stands out, then if Brentford won, the 0-1 guys would likely NOT be penalised as they aren't "obviously extreme"> But if there is a solo 0-3 or a 0-2, then that one IS exposed.
