Now the window has closed who do you think has been our best bit of business over the summer?

Bowen looks like a pretty decent signing.

Currently yeah.

I wonder if we'll feel the same in November.... and May.

Offloading Puscas tbh. T Ince is great but the mystery striker might be even better.

Sarr, think he's going to be a big player for years to come.

I think he's a fairly average player, but Rahman may end up being the most important signing because the lack of decent left back was looking like a big weakness in the squad.

I'd say keeping Yiadom on has been our most important piece of business this summer.

In terms of loans/signings, I think Loum is/will prove to be our best signing of the season, been excellent since the start really bar Sheff United in the week and looks like a midfielder we've been desperately lacking for years. It's early days though. I also think Ince has been a good signing and both Rahman and Lumley may prove to be underrated, yet important loan signings for the season.

True but he’s been decent since he arrived so no reason to think he’ll drop off

After Tom think Loum, Fornah, Baba in that order but very early days on them

More thinking about someone exceeding him

Based on the first handful of games:

Ince
Loum/Fornah
Hutchinson

Keeping Yids and Holmes certainly looks good. Holmes looks really classy - playing in a three and with Hutch as sweeper helps - and Yids is as influential as ever.

Loum looks the business but sadly I think he'll only ever been a one-season loan while Fornah is probably in the same boat. If we're able to keep one of them permanently that would be a great coup.

Hutch is also great, and Hoilett is a quietly very good signing in my opinion. Great pros and I think they're a good influence on the younger lads.

Wonder if Holmes has been getting a few admiring glances from other teams.

Been really impressed with him this year

Unusually almost all - if not all - signings have been really decent so far. I know people are a bit critical of Hendrick ... but I think he's been fine and kept fit so far.

If only we had got him signed up to a new Contract in the summer

I agree though, he’s maturing into a very decent player and having Hutch can only help him and TomMc continue developing

Keeping him might be a tall order.
