Where will we finish?

by Spirit of Elm Park » 18 Aug 2006 12:46

Give a position and a short explanation and an outstanding moment. Maybe we can look back at the end of the season and take the piss out of each other

Final Position: 10th

The team step up to the mark and prove that a winning habit and attractive play is enough to see off the dross in the bottom half

Outstanding Moment: A 2-1 win at Old Trafford.

I really don't care where we finish as long as it is not any of the following positions.

19th

20th

or 18th

Any position out of the bottom three and I will celebrate like we won the Premiership. If we actually won the Premiership god knows what I'd do.

More important in my book is the points we need, I reckon 37 should see us safe, anyone want to setup a website counting down the points till we reach this magic number? Thought not.

18th.

Outstanding moment: Handbags Harris spills lager down his trousers at Wigan, giving the impression that he has pissed himself.

Top half would be fantastic, to stay up this season would be mindblowing.

12TH

I'm thinking that teams with width or pace do well in the prem, and we have both.

Getting thumped 6-0 away to Arsenal, after I turned down an all expenses paid, trip to Turkey, in order not to miss this match.

17th... just.

I think Fulham, Watford and Sheffield United will go down.

Warnock was bad enough last season when Sheffield United were winning most weeks. Watching him interviewed after heavy defeats at Old Trafford, Stamford Bridge et al could be priceless television.

Charlton, Watford and Sheffield United will finish below us.

In fact I think Dowie will get Charlton relegated.

18th I think, but relegated before the last day of the season.

Highlight of the season will be floyd_streete's beard at Middlesbrough away.
