I may have seen that bus.

I was in the bus queue and a double decker went past with an almighty chant of "West Reading is Wonderful....." and lots of window banging.

The only disappointment is the required ID to get on now though. Unfortunate as I was looking forward to going there before the game

You want to talk about ID?

How's this;

After the match, me and my friend fancied a drink so we went to Walkabout - but was refused entry as my fried had a shirt on... tut tut. I said to the bouncer "Would you prefer a Man United shirt?" no response given.

Went to Oneills, and asked for Id. I produced my passport. I've just moved house and had to send my licence away to be renewed with my new address.

He said, sorry you need proof of address. I said, I've got a season ticket. He still said no. Only when my friend spoke to him with his address ID and said I did live in Reading did he hesitantly allow me entry.

Bloody annoying having to jump through hoops every time theres a game on.

We sat on the silent POW bus gazing in admiration at the double decker next to us, filled with noise.

I spoke to Sue on Friday lunchtime and she was pretty adamant that if I wanted to come down on Saturday and get the bus then I would need to fill in an application form and have a photo taken for ID. They had about 20 passes left from people that had not returned them. Are they going to be like this for every game?

Didn't have this in place for Boro - was it brought in for Man City?
