His entry on Wikipedia.org has come in for a bit of abuse lately
We should give him a warm welcome

weybridgewanderer So we can't sing "your worse than graham poll"

Just change it to "You´re worse than Styles and Riley"

Another chant could be 2+2 = 3.

Sing it to the lino for a bad offside. Mr Poll would get to hear it then.

Rob Stiles was OK, it was his clueless linos that were the problem.

Yes we can, as we did at Palace once when he was in charge. He found it quite amusing.

I wish he'd move back to Tilehurst.

Living in Tring, does that mean Watford will never suffer the misfortune of having him ref one of their games? Grossly unfair on the other 19 teams if you ask me.

Watford can get the thing from Tring.I emailed the chap that deals with allocations regarding another ref that we had who lived in close proximity to an away match(cant remember game/ref off the top of my head).
It seems the rules about residence were relaxed a few years back and that clubs and managers are notified as to the provisional allocation list in advance and that changes are only made should there be "reasonable concern"by any such party etc etc blah.
We might get him for the vicarage rd game.Funny old game and all.

Graham Poll isn't that bad, there's worse in the Premiership, at least you can have a bit of banter with him.

Although a bit of a plonker at times he will usually explain decisions if he's asked.

Also re: linos, they seem to get a lot of stick for non use of flags, this is not necessarily their fault as FIFA's ridiculous mucking about with the offside law has meant that players aren't considered active or interfering until they move toward or touch a ball however far offside they actually are when the ball is played, therefore flags go up later annoying and confusing the b*ggery out of everyone - so its no wonder mistakes are made. Well done FIFA another masterstroke to add to your catalogue of cr*p fiddling with the laws of the game.
