for getting a point at Chelsea.

Just shows what can be done if you go to the big clubs and attack them.

Well done Royals.

Hope you all had a Merry Christmas.

Thanks very much. I felt we deserved to be 10-0 down at half time, but our second half performance earned us a point.

Proud to be a Royal today.

Possession stats do not always tell the whole story. According to Sky Sports

http://home.skysports.com/matchreport.a ... 8&channel=

territorial advantage was Chelsea 44.5 Reading 55.5, which means that the majority of Chelsea's possession advantage was in their own half and as such no great threat to us

good stat considering the results of most reading games could not be guessed by possession numbers

The Sky report says that Essien scored "the most unfortunate of own goals".

I thought that Inge scored that when Chelsea came to Reading.

Essien's was less unfortunate because it wasn't the undeserved match-winner.

Unfortunate for him personally, because it should be credited to Cashley as it was his cock up.

just goes to show how effective crossing can be in a game!!!

we had numerous chances from crosses yesterday, something that was lacking at both blackburn and everton games

What really annoyed me yesterday was on Sky sports, the commentators at like 3 mins to go were saying every time chelsea had the ball 'this could be the last chance chelsea have at winning the game'

And when Reading had the ball nothing... we had every chance of winning the game yesterday and played just as well as Chelsea
