How silly do you mugs look now??

Give a natural goalscorer chances and you get 3 in 3. Unable to find the original thread sadly, as it would be nice to see it again.

Also starting to link up really well with Kevin Doyle, as some of us predicted would happen once they had played a few full games together.

I've always admired Leroy, he's always interested, holds up the ball well, links play and likes to run at players. He's a great finisher too.

Even without his goals, his performances have been a hell of a lot better and he's putting the right effort and mentality in, whereas before he wasn't and wasn't showing any signs of doing so - I hope his good form continues because he's been class in the last few games.

However, he's also undermined arguments on here that he's just a goalscorer and he never has to hold the ball up because it's not his job. His chasing, holding up of the ball, link up play and heading have been much improved and he's not diving any more. I expect him to keep doing this in future and he shouldn't let his performances slip.

Well done Leroy, keep it up.

absolutely he has improved his game ten fold!!
another example of good management from Coppell, leaving him out for so long made him take a step back and look at himself and where he was headed, now he seems focused on his football, as it should be.

Well done Leroy keep it up!!

To add some balance to the force - I think I would've stuck one away against those clowns today.

This is a 'murking' in response to one of the most ridiculous threads ever, up there with the 'Forster to get 15 how long do you give Coppell' poll.

From the programme...

Steve Coppell I know that Leroy Lita has been personally dissatisfied with some of my team selections recently, but he has been working hard in training to make sure that he was ready for his opportunity.

His hunger showed when he was making his cameo appearances and he has come through brilliantly.

Well done Leroy Lita and well done Steve Coppell.

Yeah, you're right, Mags. And Leroy's goal only just crossed the line - it didn't even ripple the net! Leroy out!

Forster will not get another 15 goals in total, washed up and finished.

Those would be the same clowns that beat Man U? They may not be that good but they're not clowns, and if they were made to look like it then give our players some credit for doing it. I would point out that Sir Steve reckons that after our first goal we played the best football he has seen since he has been with us!

have to say we tore some teams apart last year but when you look at west ham's team on paper and bare in mind we are playing in the PL that was nothing short of astonishing today!!

Im officially bored of watching him score - can he go give some bristolians a smack again? and sit the next few weeks on the bench stewing and building up a hunger?

Sitting at the very back of the South Stand you get a very good view of what's going on strategically - and LL made amazing runs all afternoon, left, right, through the centre to give the midfields and even defenders balls to force the pace and hit WHU where it hurt. Brilliant performance Leroy - keep it up.

Great play down the left wing when required as well. Lots of good hard low crosses, very difficult for defenders to deal with.
