stockportcounty.co.uk It was the first goal conceded by Hennessey in 14 hours 15 minutes as a County player

Steve went 1103 minutes without conceding a goal :D

So the Stockport keeper was still 248 minutes short of beating the record. Can't see that record being broken for a while (touch wood).

given that we didn't win any cups that year (and therefore we'd have had to have conceded when being knocked out), no.

Just talksport talking crap.

It is a record for consecutive wins without goals conceded, as we had some 0-0 draws in our run.

Yeah it was- we played a cup game during the run.

That's why Chelsea's a while back was only a league record- they'd conceded in a cup game at some point during their run.

how do you work that out?..it was the last 11 games of the season, Brentford scored in the first game of the following season to stop our run (OG by Stuart Henderson), maybe the records been going so long some people have forgotten it, cant think of many that have been unbroken for so long, must be 28-30 years now

Seems to me that some people are still disputing if Stockports's is actually a record. It is, just a different record to ours.
