Friday RFC related trivia

by AndyRFC » 30 Mar 2007 15:53

1.Of the 91 current Football League and Prem clubs how many have we defeated on the last meeting between the sides?

2. Name the 4 clubs that one on there last meeting with Reading which was played in Reading?

For Example: Swindon won on there last visit to Reading but there has been a meeting in Swindon since that fateful day

Good Luck

No, we have played Arsenal and Everton away after they beat us here

Sorry, others have obviously grasped the intent of the question better than me. Wasn't that clear until the 2nd or 3rd time of reading...

I might be misunderstanding the question, is it the last teams to win at the Madejski and we havn't played since at the Madejski - or last teams to win at the Madejski and we havn't played since full stop. If its the former then its Wolves and Plymouth isn't it??

But in his example, we have played Swindon away since they beat us here...what's the difference?

I think that that was meant to be an example of why Swindon aren't part of the answer. Otherwise he'd be giving you one of the four teams, no?

(Although the syntax is appalling, so who knows what he really means?)

Not Wolves or Plymouth by that criteria, then...

That'd be correct.

<Look at me!> I first saw them play in Manchester before they had a contract, so I've been following them for a while. </Look at me!>

Walsall in the cup? I think we played them 3 times in two weeks or something - god awful games home and away. The last game of that set was a loss in the cup (on penos?) and I think we went seperate ways after that season? This is a hard question without looking at tinternet so that is probably rubbish?!

We played Walsall later on that year, (different season) and lost 0-1 at home through a Vinny Samways strike and then a 1-1 draw at the Bescot on 28/12/03
