Stelios

by Binfield Royal » 22 Apr 2007 17:11

Not the Easyjet bloke - the cheating twat of a Bolton player.

I heard a piece with Alan Green on 5Live and at the point that Sir Kevin of Cork was about to take the undisputable 8) penalty, Stelios was seen to pull a balloon out of his shorts, blow it up quickly then stamp on it just as Doyler stepped up to take the pen.

This was then confirmed on match of the day.

Whilst I am pretty certain there are no rules from FIFA about balloons and penalties - what a t0sser that son of a kebab seller is.

Haven't seen this elsewhere so I am sure someone will delight in Dodding if I missed it

They even said it was Stelios on SSN, however, it was quite clearly Thompson - as it said "Thompson" on the back of his bloddy shirt. Let's get more women into commentating!

Cheating scum

Something has to be done about this.

It didn't work though, nor did absolutely saturating the pitch before kick off. That one seemed to back fire on them.

It's certainly something that the FA need to deal with - in the old days it would have been 'ungentlemanly conduct' and a booking but suspect they have a new term for it now....

Is it really worse than headbutting someone or having a mass brawl on the side of the pitch though?

Defiantely not harold, not quite as bad as stewards racially abusing ronaldinho and eto'o in a champions league game two years ago though is it. Can't remember who it was though

I would not say it was worse than that but it is in the realms of very unsporting behavior especially as it is totally premeditated and unprovoked.

I would put it on a par with supporters of CheLOLski fishing for reaction on other teams discussion websites.

I would say it was a bit of sour grapes, similar to a manager moaning how his team doesnt get and penalties and Manure never seem to get one given against them.

Where was your boys 'late winner' today... seems like we have taken a leaf out of your book... play absolutely crap for 80 odd minutes and then win it at the death.

Glad I don't have to watch that sort of rubbish week in week out, unlike some.
