Nicky Shorey in Team of the Season

Forgive me if some other thread with a totally irrelevant title has already said this but:

Two of the five Independent 'Football Experts' (?) put Nicky Shorey in their Prem Teams of the Season. As the only left back with two mentions, he wins, and with the other ones being Patrice Evra, Gael Clichy and Joleon Lescott, he should be in the England First Team Squad, not the B lot !
