August fixture dates this year are:

11th
14th or 15th

Now given we have to be away on the 25th due to the festival then we'll start like this

11th Away
14th Home
18th Home
25th Away

I'd like to get one of the top four away out of the way early so Liverpool away will do to start.

Not really too bothered. Just glad we're going to be out of the country when the fixture lists come out so all the threads moaning about being away to Fulham for the first game have been and gone before we get back.

Could be wrong mate but the PL seem to like having the pattern that teams away on the first day then have two home games and vice versa.

Given we have to be away on the 25th then the pattern sees at home on the 14th.

As long as the "Big games" are spaced out a little more than last year.

at home on the bounce last year was bad planning by the PL,

Then Portsmouth (4th at the time) then Pool away put us in our worst position of the season....a lowly 12th
