Best RFC centre back of all time part 2

Get your votes in for the second CB slot! For a run down on anybody other than Steve Wood, click here.

Steve Wood

A solid defender from the days of Ian Branfoot, featured in the 1985/6 Division Three championship (and probably the record breaking 13 wins at the start of the season). Left in 1987 to join Millwall, I think.

It's a close one for me between Williams, Hicks and Curle. Hmm...Curle and Williams were better players but I think Hicks squeeks it for his length of service.

My vote's for Linvoy 'The Stove' Primus - a player who we really should have made more of an effort to keep.

I agree, but if a player wants away, what more could we do other try to offer a very good wage within our budget?

True, although I suspect discontent with the management of the time was a lot to do with it. He would have fitted in very well with the current team.

I also liked Keith McPherson - as much for his guts as his skill. He would also do well in a 'nicest man in England' poll.

Must say I'm quite enjoying this game - was enjoying the cricket, but we've had a bit of a mid-life crisis in the first innings.

this is really tough, but I've just gone for Sonko as the power of him combined with Wdowcyzk would be excellent.

4-5 real contenders here. harsh on those who don't make it.

Will the votes from both polls be aggregated?

You could have Adie Williams with the most votes overall yet finishing second in both polls.
