Jerry St Clair Where's the option for "indifferent"?

pretty much how I feel. thanks for sticking to your contract sidwell, no love loss, no hate gained. he owes alot to reading (and coppell) for his career, and reading owe him alot for how he was a part of a very successful side.

I suspect on seeing him I shall lose control of all my motor functions, leaving my head lopsided and a small permanent tear slowly dripping from one eye.

or I doubt Ill care that much.
One of the two.

Do what we always do when an old player returns - round of applause before the game, ironic cheers when he's sent off.

Stand up and clap for Steve Sidwell during the warm up, nothing during the game.

I'll greet his return with some trademark apathy, just as I do everything in my life.

I'll sing "Stephen Sidwell, you used to play for Reading, and before that you played for Arsenal and then Steve Coppell played you when he was manager for Brentford. You are a kind of link/semi-attacking midfielder and you are 26 but then you moved to Chelsea when your contract came to an end. Hello Stephen."

I have a way with words.

Don't like the bugger, don't agree with the manner he handled his leaving, won't be getting any kind of welcom back from me.

same... to be honest i can't see myself clapping as enthusiastically as i did when curo came back, sidwell could have become a reading legend instead he's just 'one of the guys from the year we made the prem'

i think some people will though.

i won't personally, but i think some people will just because he's playing against us and because some people think he could have been more loyal but i don't think it'll be that many and i don't think it will be any more than any player in the chelsea line up.

so all in all i reckon he'll get a mixed reception, but i don't remember anyone booing when cureton came back
