whilst clearing out my loft i found a program and scarf from the simod cup final in '88, so i thought i would share some of the old team for the newbies and plastics, and anyone old enough to remember.

I have a signed matchball from the game, old school ball. I was only three at the time so didnt go to the game!

I remember the roar every time Gilksey got the ball that day. Steve Foster and his headband had a nightmare that afternoon.

Yes, Kingsley Black.

The only thing I remember about him was that he was nicknamed "The Professor" at Luton. Because he had two A-Levels. :roll: Only in football.

Then he disappeared into obscurity.

Hope that is not genuine from the club. I would expect them to know that we played in yellow that day.

agreed that's why i won't be buying it - makes it look like a pikey sunday league team shirt, sponsored by courage....shame really as would like a 80's kit that fitted me in my enlarged / older state!
