I'm as surprised as the rest of you. During the game it was clear cut, but then the replays made it perfectly clear to me that it wasn't one.

Fair play to Lawro for that little computer image. Can't believe it was right on the line.

All the way from the North Stand it didn't look anything like a pen, but both the lino & ref both called it.

I hope all you hobnobbers who went to the game really enjoyed a very special win.
I listened to the game on Radio5 and Alan Green was adamant we were very lucky to get the penalty...fair play to Lawro who pointed out the foul was comitted on the line of the penalty box.....he was very fair with his comments.

I think that the rules have changed this season.

It's not where a challenge is first made but where the player who has been challenged goes to ground that marks the spot the infringement takes place.

Cast iron penalty if (a big IF I know) I'm correct.

I thought it was a bit dodgy, but understandable that it was given. If Lawro says it was a pen then I'm happy.

Agreed, it just doesn't sound natural... After she was the "first ever female commentator" sometime last year I swear she was dropped for quite a while...
