Aston Villa Prediction Thread

Aston Villa 2 -1 Reading

This will be a tough game & with us having no centre backs with the likelyhood of Bryn filling in at the back, I think we will struggle.

I think we can nick a cheeky point so I'm going for 1-1.

I think we'll play OK, but will lose 3-1, with Kitson scoring for us.

I think Villa are one of the few clubs not affected by the ACN, and it's a tough place to go to anyway.

3 - 1 Villa

I said I think we'll PLAY ok, i.e. put in a decent competitive performance, but ultimately lose 3-1. Is it really that difficult to comprehend?

I'd like to think we could steal something. But Villa are a good, solid side. Pace out wide - so that's Murty and Shorey in for a fun game. Height and strength in Carew - well, I think this may be a game for Duberry.

But I cannot see Kitson and Doyle having much fun against that back line and well, they'll score one from a corner or a Barry freekick. More fantasy points for Laursen, I guess.

Is Duberry injured :?

I was just saying that of our remaining defenders, I think putting Duberry on Carew makes the most sense.

He went off against Spurs. They are saying it is nothing serious but he is a large doubt for Saturdays game.

Oh.

Bugger.

I don't want to see Gunnar or a debutant up against someone as big and strong as Carew.

We is well fukced
