Polish International on trial

by RG30 » 17 Jan 2008 13:23

Wojciech Kowalewski joins us on trial, provided he signs then it's great news, much better than Hahnemann and would have played more for Poland had not been for the likes of Boruc & Dudek playing at the same time.

Spent last few years in Russia playing for Spartak Moscow, would hopefully expect something permanent with SC stating he likes plenty of goalkeepers around and Stack spending the rest of the season on-loan at Wolves.

its on the official site

Kowalewski has a reputation of being an excellent penalty-saver, once breaking FC Torpedo Moskva's Vladimir Leonchenko's streak of 13 successful spot-kicks....... Would be nice to have a pen saved for a change

Defo comes with a very good background.
With Marcus way past his best & Kowalewski being in his prime for a Goalkeeper, he could be a good signing?

Or the names on replica shirts are going to be charged for by the letter.

When Superman returns he's likely to get a good opportunity to break his own record in remarkably short time!

lol

Would be handy to have a keeper in Goal that you had some faith in when spot kicks were being taken. Especially like RR said as we are shocking at giving away Penalties.

Why would it be great news? Other than youtube clips, have you seen him play?

Also could someone please confirm his ability on Football Manager.
