I could cope with these things while we were doing well, but it looks like his ineptitude could cost us a place in this division

He is a club legend, and what he has done should never be forgotten, but there is only so long that he can get away with it

Indeed. Hopefully he'll carry on into next season as well.

Been saying pretty much all the above about the Balding Guy for weeks now, yet everyone refused to believe the prophecy that is Thou Voice.

I posted at length about this before, but unfortunately a large membership of this bored can only respond with attempted insults which just go to show what a poor calibre of membership they are here as I refuse to bow down to the idiot they call the Balding Guy.

The fact is, he is no good as a manager at this level and has pretty much thrown away the Premier League. There will be people who will still be firmly buried in the past with regards to RFC and the past is excatly what they will get. The Emperors O-Ring will now have matches played in it within the Championship.

Unless the Balding Guy does what I (and now others) have suggested, it's game over for RFC.

If I was ever to met this fool in person, I would shake his hand and congratulate him for making a bigger mess of RFC then he did at Crystal Palace. At least he didn't get too much a chance to ruin Manchester City.

Every problem we've had this season can be linked back to the summer when Coppell refused to spend the money he needed too.

He then did the same in Jan, despite assuring us all he wouldn't make the same mistakes.

If he keeps us up he need to change his recruitment policy 100% and look improve the squad, rather than giving the players he already has chance after chance.

If you believe the papers the same thing is happening with Wenger at Arsenal - he's now being turned on by his own fans for not buying in January, and not inspiring the fans. They had the potential to carry on and win the title, but for one reason or another, they've lost their way.

We need new blood. Or a (relatively) big name. At least to inspire the fans and show that we haven't totally lost faith in Coppell. We need changes; if only for 1 game, Coppell needs to drop his loyalty. He made major changes a few weeks back, a totally different centreback pairing, and, for 3 out of 4 games, reaped the rewards. We need to see that Coppell has the confidence in himself as well as in his team, which 90% of people on here (myself included) would probably say is misplaced in at least one player...

You don't half write some rubbish, Dodger. Blame the players, the manager, the coaching staff or the Chairman, but leave Russ Abbott and the Emporer of Japan out of it, will you?

Now do me a favour and fukc off!!

Coppell lacks the bottle to manage a Premiership side successfully in the long run - he proved it at Palace and Man City and now he's proving it again. We will never properly establish ourselves in the big league with him at the helm unfortunately.

So, who do we replace him with, and when?

In today's NOTW, Coppell says he has been relegated before but he is still here - with such great fighting talk from our far from inspiring leader, is it any wonder that the team surrrenders abjectly to the mighty Fulham? Coppell says some of our players have not been in a relegation battle before - does that explain why they look cr-p. Shorey & Harper said that the performance against Newcastle was embarrassing and must not happen again - well done lads, you were even worse against Fulham.

The very definition of plastic. Knowing that you won't be around anymore makes relegation an appealing prospect.

Over loyal - can't argue with that, he's admitted that himself

Timid - maybe a little timid to make substitutions.

Passionless - IT DOESN'T FCUKING MATTER HOW MUCH PASSION A MANAGER HAS!!! Oh wait, no give me Colin over Coppell any day. FFS this annoys me - rather a manager kept a cool head than lost his calm.

Prejudiced - possibly, none of us know the reasons for his selections and treatment of players so difficult to say

Crap in the transfer marker - built most of a promotion winning team, and a team which finished 8th in the Prem, for £5 million. Competing in the Premiership against 19 teams who cost double what our team did. Lita, Doyle, Ingimarsson, Hunt etc.

Youngsters - you don't see them every day, only the staff can judge if they're good enough.

Costing us - he would have to take some of the blame, but so would the players, and Madejski, for not investing. Coppell would still overwhelmingly be in credit, for building a team on the cheap, finishing 8th (inflating expectations) then finding its rightful level.
