Arsenal Match Thread

by TFF » 19 Apr 2008 12:18

Team: Hahnemann; Murty (c), Rosenior, Bikey, Ingimarsson, Sonko; Cisse, Harper, Kebe, Convey; Kitson
Subs: Federici, Duberry, Fae, Matejovsky, Doyle

No left back, no Blakey. The element of surprise?

EDIT:

The OS Jimmy Kebe makes his first start as we go with a 5-4-1 formation. Liam Rosenior plays left back, while Ibrahima Sonko is our third centre back alongside Ivar Ingimarsson and Andre Bikey.

Graeme Murty is back, and takes the captain's armband. There is no space for Stephen Hunt, Shane Long, John Oster and Nicky Shorey after they all started last week.

I'm sorry but even though I am baffled by little not making the bench let alone starting 11 as he was touted by SSC all week himself, its hats off to SSC with this selection (although not entirely sure of the formation). At last he has dropped players who cant perform week in week out recently and least he is now making rightful changes!!

COME ON YOU ROYALS LETS GET A POINT OR 3 :)

Sorry but LOL  at our team and presumed formation.

2 options:

1) play it along the floor and get done up the tailpipe by the vastly more skilled and quicker Arse midfield/strikers

2) Hit it long for Kitson to nod on to himself in vain, again and again.

My money is on 1) for the first 30 mins, then 2) once we are 3-0 down.

Maybe Coppell wants Little wants to be as fit as possible in the circumstances for the next game and realises he is more important against a team we might have a chance against?

Little and Lita combo might be our last chance saloon.

Oh dear.

3 centre backs, and our most creative midfielder dropped for our most defensive one.

Let's. Get. Defending...

Just had a couple of taunting texts from Arsenal fans saying that they think that they are going to win.
