I would have maybe had Mate instead of Harper but cant complain overall with that, looks a very strong first 11. Doobs shouldnt be outpaced by Heskey etc and will "do a job" on him i reckon. LEROY :D

Not a bad team tbh. Would possibly have gone for Little over Doyle and Marek over Harper myself. Anyhow, C'mon URZ!

Only problem, where is Convey? After his efforts at the Arsenal surely a place on the bench at least.
Reverted to the headless Hunt and Doyle for wingers?!

Is it a 5-3-2?? Or, a 3-5-2?
OR 4-1-3-2?

On a slightly different note, 2-1 Chelsea which means should we win today Wigan will be very much involved in the scrap having to play United on the last day with Bolton at Chelsea

looks a defensive midfield to me - we're either looking for a draw or a sneaky 1 - 0 win

Wonder what the odds are on 1 - 0 with Lita the scorer???

Final score - great news.

I think today is the only chance Wigan have of getting any more points this season. Let's hope they feel the pressure.

And Bolton play Chelsea last day of the season too - let's hope Chelsea are still in the race then.

Very nice if you fancy a quid on Lita and a 1 - 0

"If you fancy him to score the only goal of the game, you can get a very interesting 50/1. Other Scorecast bets include 120/1 on him scoring first in a 2-0 win.

The odds on him opening the scoring are 17/2, and you can also get those same odds on him scoring the last goal, which could well be worth a punt if he starts on the bench."

Good looking team, Marek on the bench could make an impact, Obviously worried about Little's fitness so could be a useful impact sub

Glad to see Lita starting and Bikey can hopefully dominate in the middle.

Totally agree. I think he should have started ahead of Hunt. Marek ahead of Harper for me as well but delighted Bikey is playing central midfield.

Another suspect Liverpool team though, away at Birmingham

The Liverpool team in full: Reina, Finnan, Riise, Skrtel, Hyypia, Plessis, Lucas, Pennant, Benayoun, Voronin, Crouch. Subs: Itandje, Gerrard, Kuyt, Carragher, Insua.

Its not Wigan I care about..its Bolton and it is great news that Chelsea won because if they have any chance of the title going into the final game of the season they will go hell for leather to beat Bolton

We need 11 who will compete for every ball today, it'll be a scrap.

Harps and Doyle will do that more than Marek and Convey
