What makes you think they'll come down? There's no guarantee.

Thank you for pointing them out, but we are barely 1/6 of the way through this season. I'll think about the Championship when we are mathematically relegated.

If it actually happens.

Where did I say I did ?

And if I recall correctly the prices we were paying at places like Southampton and Ipswich were no lower than we pay for many Prem games anyway....

My tickets for my two sons for next week against Wigan are £6 each!! Significantly less than I paid for the privilege of getting them into see my nearest team Cheltenham Town for a division 1 game last season.

Oxf*rd off back into you pLOLastic hole, we've played six games FFS. If you judge a team, your team let me just add, so damningly on six games then you should oxf*rd off these boards and go and work for the BBC as a MOTD pundit, being critical about 6 games gets you nowhere! Just makes you look like a complete and utter div!

Nothing like a bit of positivity...and that is nothing like positivity.

How about getting behind the team for once? Or let me guess...Reading have always won when you been supporting them?

Life ain't like Champ Man...we can't restart teh season, we are where we are.

I've spent more years than most of you have been alive waiting for Reading to make good. Years and years of scrabbling around in Divisions three and four, thank you very much, and so I want my seasons in the sun. You can oxf*rd off with your 'the Championship would be better' crap.

If you started watching from Pardew onwards you have had more success than a little team like Reading can expect. You're a spoilt brat. If the Championship is so great go and watch Southampton. Only an hour in the car and they will be there for a few years.

Although for those of you who've only been with us since promotion you'll be interested to know the whole ground has been 'reserved' seating since before you started coming

I've always found Lineker to be pretty postive towards Reading. When Lawro was giving everyone the benefit of his expert analysis that Reading lacked quality, he seemed to disagree.

Excellent post. Totally agree. Modern football is a shadow of its former self.

Whilst hoping we escape I do actually prefer Championship football. It is more exciting as it is less predictable.

Mind you if we are fighting relegation all season it will be a pretty enthralling year - specially if we need a win on the last day to escape!

It is not a guarantee that prices will fall - but if they don't following a relegation the crowds will be tiny.

Not as much of a div as you look with this reply. Put your toys back in your pram.

Crumbs. Seems only yesterday that we were wetting ourselves with excitement - me included - that we had won promotion to the Championship (league one as it was then).

For the next couple of season we were, according to most outsiders and a good many around here, "punching above our weight".

Now, all of a sudden, "it's a bit shit.....".

I hope we don't go down. I don't think we will go down, this season at least. But at least let's have some humility when when we do (whenever that may be) and enjoy being one of the bigger fishes in that pond challenging for promotion with the money we will have amassed in the interim.

He never mentioned relegation. What a typical response from a bunch of brain dead RTG's.

All he said was 10 Befits of the championship.
