Yes indeed. A loser who took this club into the Premiership with a record haul of points followed by a staggering 8th in the top flight with many neutral supporters seeing Reading as their second club.
He has made many mistakes this season particularly in the transfer market last summer but a man who in the past two seasons has been voted by his contempories as the best of the lot is by no means a loser.
As for TV he has been a bit more restrained tonight....but I'm not holding my breath
