Transfers that made you cry

by Gus the teenage cow » 20 Jun 2008 15:05

As it seems that Glen Little is on his way to Pompey disappointing a large section of our fans as we stuck by the guy and paid his wages while he recovered from injury let us all look back and remember transfers from the past either incoming or outgoing that caused us trauma, anxiety, sleepless nights and even (dare i say it and maintain my hard-edged heterosexuality) a few tears

transfers of the past that made me cry

-simon osbourne (out to qpr), a sure sign to me that the team that had come so close was disintegrating and the dream fading and similarily the 550 on Micheal Meaker in was a shocking waste of money, these transactions with qpr were the first steps on our 10 year decline
-hmmm sean evers, a lot of cash on a nobody i hadn't heard of and well who was i talking about there..ummm

ok your contributions please, pour out your hearts

Not Strictly on Topic But letting Upson Go when we could have signed him was a low point too.

Who is Simon Osborne?

Anyway, I remember feeling very angry when Quinn and Gooding let Dylan Kerr go and feeling even more upset when his replacement arrived from Swindon.
