Jimmy Kebe

Seems like the lanky wide man scored again today, and according to the OS (noted) had quite an impact again.

Can those of you who have seen all the pre-season so far give some idea of how he's doing?

Is he going to have a good season?

Maybe its his time to step up?

Anyone?

Reading fans like pick on someone, usually they are not british and dont have white skin.

Certainly deserves a chance next season.

Seems to be in front of Henry in the pecking order.

Think he could potentially be a decent impact sub. Needs to work on his bloody crossing though!!

Had a good game today - twice as much impact as BC on the other wing. Could be an important player for us next season if he keeps improving at the rate he's going.

Yes obviously we boo people because of skin colour - nothing to do with them being absolute gob shite, no way!

The thing is british football fans love a player that runs around like a headless chicken (usually replacing the technique that is missing), a player with pace, skill or different to british runner is a usual target.

Convey has pace and skill - been boo'd yet? Nope
Matejovsky is a completely different player to a normal british player- full of tricks and flicks and oozes class. Been boo'd yet? Nope

That was what it seemed like from what I've read so far.

Fingers crossed he may be a ready made replacement for Little (albeit a very different type of player, obviously).

Still would like cover in that position, or a replacement for Little, unless Henry is making good progress too.

There's often someone who surprises everyone and has a good season.

We need some good news after the shock of Kitson going!
