Where's Shorey? Injured? Or just final confirmation he's off.

No return for Sidwell either - ruled out with a calf strain.

So. Farewell
Then
Nicky Shorey

Leaving us a whole 7 days to bring in a decent left back or else it is Stephen Hunt as the proverbial square peg in a round hole, a man who is to tackling what Harold Shipman is to bed side manner. Or else we have got Julian Kelly or an injured Scott Golbourne. Spiffing.

Interesting Marek won't be involved... Precaution after his injury?

Does look rather like a Shorey departure is imminant.

At least if he is off it gives us plenty of time to get a replacement in !!

The official site is just saying he is not included for todays match so that basically confirms that a move is being negotiated.

It also just says that Marek and Murty also miss out, but doesn't mention why, although we know Murty is injured.

Hopefully Routledge will give Hunt an absolute roasting to add a little more encouragement to buying a new left back.

Convey wins a penalty with a cracking run!

Hunt saved by Friedel, Lita can't put in the rebound.

Hmm we don't really have a decent penalty taker anymore.

The decent penalty taker is on the bench, Noel Hunt very confident from the spot for Dundee United.

would be useful to have one who is likely to be first choice in his position though. He's got a little way to go to overtake Lita or Doyle.
