Shay Given, Stephen Hunt and Kevin Doyle sat out training at the Halberg Stadium in Taunusstein-Wehen on Sunday morning because of minor knocks but all three look certain to be fit for Wednesday's game.

Hunt and Doyle injured? They come back and get better treatment than offered by BUPA – Mr Hunt you owe RFC everything - I trust an apology for the recent outburst is in the pipeline.

Hunt and Doyle resumed training for RoI today, and will probably start their next match in Podgorica, Montengro. (Sky Sports News).

No loss if SHunt doesn't make it. Doyle missing would be a prob.

You obviously don't get out much.

We would miss Hunty much more than we would miss Doyle.

Its a big loss if Hunt doesnt make it, Doyle is a top class player but we have near equal back up in the striking positions but Stephen Hunt is vital to our team.

I take you have not watched Reading this season ?

Thats what makes football so interesting - different opinions. Shunt reminds me of a poor mans Kevin Bremner. If you took his running around alot away, what are you actually left with?

I wouldn't say it was woeful, there were a couple of decent crosses, better than anyone else put in. I do get your point though, he has been far better for us this season crossing than he was tonight.

As much as i wouldnt want him to miss the game on Saturday as he is our best crosser of the ball and his endless energy will be a great help to any new left back bedding in, he must be exhausted after the amount of work he put in tonight in that heat,

I would rather he miss Saturday and be rested enough for Tuesday and the following Saturday.

An International player who performed well in the Premiership and has been the subject of several bids in excess of £3m.

Given that we rejected all of these bids, I make that at least 3 Premiership and 2 International managers who see something in Stephen Hunt that you don't.
