The team most of us would like to see:

Reading: Hahnemann; Rosenior, Armstrong, Bikey, Pearce; Karacan, Harper (c), Kebe, S Hunt; Doyle, N Hunt
Subs: Federici, Kelly, Sodje, Convey, Long

The first league game for years without at least one of Murty, Sonko, Ivar, Shorey at the back. Either the end of the Golden Age or the dawn of a new era (or both).

Sam Sodje has seemed to battled his way back into contention. Good, imo.

I am starting to think that again with no Lita even on the bench that he is a spent force at the Mad stad, to be fair he has had numerous run ins over the past couple of years, and this does smack of the "once your out of favour" with SSC thats your lot ! Surprised that Ingi is out, but lets see how it goes !! Very good to see Noel Hunt there, the bench just gives everyone an idea on just what a week squad we have got, lose a couple of the regulars and we are into fielding a lot of the young players. To my mind we have stretched the squad and have incredibly such a small amount of experienced players here now.

Gunnarsson and Murty will be back soon and I fully expect Mooney to be on the bench (if Lita coninues to be avoided).

The starting eleven looks great! And Long is great off the subs bench.

Come on urrzzzz!!!!!!

Would have picked that starting line up myself but the bench mistifies me. Why is Kelly on the bench again? I like the look of the lad, he's a decent full back and seems a good character but what does he bring to the bench. Either Henry or Lita/Mooney should be on the bench. Still if we have an injury at full back then Kelly will come in handy.

Yes it must be 6/7 years since none of the above started in a league game..."Quite remarkable" as David Coleman would say

Not happy Long is in in the squad.

As for that bench, lets hope we don't get any injuries :|

Weediest bunch of substitutes ever named in a professional football match

Good news I agree. Seems to have just got on with his job and has been playing well in the reserves recently
