Any Chance of The Barnsley Game Being Postponed Due To Snow?

Anyone think that there's any chance of the game being postponed due to snow, wouldn't have hought so but there's that hint of doubt surrounding it

The Oakwell pitch has undersoil heating, and I'm sure the ground staff are prepared for inclement weather anyway. That doesn't necessarily mean that the accesses to the stadium will be safe, which is another reason the game could be called off. However I very much doubt that my first visit to Oakwell will be postponed.

No.
There are too many matches this month to fit in a rematch.
Next Tuesday, Saturday, Following Saturday, Following Friday, Sunday etc.
If it was to be postponed im not sure when they'd postpone it to.

A postponed game does not have to be played in the same month it was originally due to be played.

Apart from the game a few years ago away from home to Burnley (I think, might be completley wrong), when was the last away game that got postponed?

Well if you go to Google, type in "Oakwell" and "undersoil heating" and the top page (dated 3 Jan 08) states this: "Despite flurries of snow in South Yorkshire overnight, the undersoil heating at Oakwell..."

I will be bloody gutted if it gets called off after paying £44 for the train on the day!

Has been snowing on the hills around Sheffield this morning but nothing in the centre. Little snow out towards Barnsley apparently so looking good for Saturday.
