Hard to figure Doyle not being there. But maybe the more we keep him out of sight the better....

Deservedly so. :D

TP, Rosenior played a fantastic game on Friday.
It was his cross that hit Doyle.

I guess as Elliott and Scotland both notched two goals, it's fair enough.

LOL @ any of our players being shite on friday. None of them were. We was perfectly ok. I'm surprised he was in the team of the week, but there are always some odd decisions in that. It sure as hell wasn't going to be Watford's right back.

Now he really was shite.

'Greed. You wouldn't think he was one of Arsenal's Carling Cup youngsters would you.......

im a massive Rosenior fan and i thought he was awful Fri night compared to his normal good standards. Although he didn't get into the game hugely Fri, Doyle's hold up play and general quality was second to none.

That is a very, very harsh assessment of how he played. Just what did he do wrong?

As for what he did right. Well crosses that led to two of our goals for starters plus another great cross that Watford only just managed to scramble clear before our forwards pounced on it. The commentators/pundits talked about how Loach got caught in two minds with the cross that led to Doyle's goal but I would say that was due to the quality of the cross. Dipping and curling away from the keeper and into an area of uncertainty whereby neither keeper nor defender could decide who should deal with it.

Yes, but I don't count Doyle's goal as a strike.
From the angle I saw it on TV it looked like it may have just hit his knee. :?
I'll take this statement back once I see a decent replay!

Must make the quality of the cross even better then! Dropped right into the area where that sort of thing is likely to happen.

Rosenoir is better going forward than he is defending.I am still amazed that he got into the team of the week.
What does it say about the competition?

Which is all good and well this season but next season i can see majority of rfc fans calling for his head as his lack of defending abilities will be exposed even more so!

Maybe he got into the team because he's better going forward, ie attacking play is usually more 'eye-catching'. I wonder if stats play a part in the choices? Rosey might have had one of his less convincing games (certainly not awful, but not brilliant either), but as part of a clean-sheet defence and with an assist as well, his 'output' was pretty high.

Can I just point out that IT ISN'T NEXT SEASON.

We have to do what we can to get out of this league, then concentrate on what we need to do.
Rosie's perfectly good for this division.
