Ian Royal There is no way Sir John would avoid promotion. Even if he wanted to there is no way Steve Coppell would have anything to do with it. Finally, even if Steve did go with it, there is no way on earth the players would.

Rusty royal January has seen the football world turned upside down by the possible signing of Kaka, if he does come what would it do to the premiership wage structure?? My theory is that Sir John (having already said players wages are obscene) would prefer it if we stayed in the championship, just to keep the wage bill down. We may lose some of our "star" players, but we all know the rest are capable of staying (albeit mid table) for the foreseeable future.
Any other thoughts.
