Changes to be made next week

by handbags_harris » 21 Feb 2009 20:07

Steve Coppell I will analyse the performance and make changes, spice it up for next week.

After today's somewhat turgid performance where we were beaten by a better team on the day, seeing as everybody's a budding football manager, what are the predicted changes for next week?

I predict that we'll show up for the game only to find that the MadStad has been turned into a giant Just Tiles show-room.

Predicted - Bikey in for Pearce, Matejovsky in for Harper, Gunnarsson in for Cisse, N Hunt in for Lita.

Personally I would go with Bikey in for Duberry, Matejovsky and Karacan for Harper and Cisse, and N Hunt for Doyle. Maybe Tabb for S Hunt too.

Would go with your personal selections apart from Karacan. I would have Cisse alongside Matejovsky.

I'm no football manager, but I would love to see:
Bikey in for Duberry
Henry in for Kebe
Matejovsky in for Harper
Gunnarrsson in for Cisse
Tabb in for S Hunt
N Hunt in for Lita

No way in hell is that ever going to happen.

line up for next week

............fed...............

rosenior...doobs..bikey...armstrong

kebe...harper...matejovsky...shunt

........n.hunt...lita.............

subs: usa, doyle, cisse, tabb, long.

nothing against pearce, cisse or doyle. but doyle hasnt been great, harper wont be dropped because hes coppells pet and we need pace at the back against earnshaw or tyson. that is assuming they play one up front and 5 in midfield.

Correct. Even with a 24hr recall clause in a loan deal the minimum period before activation is 28 days so he will be with Millwall until mid March unless extended further. For me the lad needed regular 1st team games to carry on his development. The problem I'm afraid lays with SSC. When he had Henry on the bench it kept Kebe on his toes to perform, but he also had the opportunity to bring him on to liven things up, re Norwich. Granted when Kebe was suspended Henry had the one good game v Birmingham but was then lacking. But he will need a longer run in the side to progress his performances, after all, how may games has Kebe been afforded!!

Will never ever happen.

The original post said what changes we think will be made

2

Cisse out Matejovsky In
Lita out N Hunt in

why? Because they are two easy decisions for Coppell to make and not replacing other areas in the field that are causing the current problems.
