CONFIRMED - DAVE KITSON SOS (SAVE OUR SEASON!)

by gonesy » 02 Mar 2009 19:33

What a much needed boost it would be for club and player if we could take him on loan! I'm sure his attitude wouldn't be as bad after scoring no goals and warming the bench for a bottom 3 side most of this season?

After all the fuss he made to get his 'big' move, you think he'll come back with his tail between his legs?

He put a fair few noses put of place last season. I don't think the dressing room would welcome him back to be honest.

Maybe not but unless someone else can get the ball in the net, their opinion is worthless imo. Its about time we got someone in on loan to score goals for us. Enough of our loanees are scoring for other clubs!

I would be delighted if we could get him in on loan. But I'm probably in a minority......

SteveRoyal I'd rather have Bignall.

Doesn't he rather lack a couple of Kitson's most useful attributes as a target man?

Yeah, because it's the strikers' fault we aren't scoring goals as the service to them is world class.

A Kitson style player would be a great addition to the squad

It wont be Kitson himself though as his time has, unfortunately, passed

Maybe Mooney could be given a chance then?

If he was anywhere near good enough he would have got involved at some point by now

I think he might actually have a bit of an injury at the moment anyway

I agree that the main culprits recently have been Shunt & Kebe with their sudden inability to cross the ball but maybe a psychological boost is needed now as well, whether it upsets people or encourages them, something needs to change.

If he wasn't anywhere near good enough, why did we sign him in the first place?

As a cheap gamble that might pay off in the next six months or so

We buy plenty of players that dont turn out to be good enough but because they are cheap the club think its worth getting them and seeing what they can make of them

It looks like he hasnt made the grade as yet
