we will get more points in the final games away from home garunteed. theres just such a negative vibe around the mad stad. the players must love playing away from home

you mean the fans who

A) boo off a promotion chasing side at half time

B) Abuse the ball girl for not picking up the ball

C) cheer when players are substituted

D) Moan about every player and say another player who isn't playing should be and then when that player does, moan about them.

Negative, not sure it is that, but it is hardly a great match day atmosphere. Everyone looks so unhappy, there is no pre match music in the concourse, it is like a bloody morgue. Once inside those that want a ciggie cant get back out to have one till HT. Was delighted to see how little beer and food was being sold pre match, by the bored shitless staff in the kiosks

You missed the bit about blaming the manager for every single thing.

spot on. one week kebe and harps are the worst footballers on the planet, the next they need to be put in. fans are not helping the cause at all. tonight we had chances, we hit the bar, hit the post, they had one attack and scored. its just so fustrating and it is not going to help taking it out on the team :x

When the players aren't playing so well at the Mad Stad, it amazes me how easily demoralised the FANS get. After Charlton's equaliser, the fans should have been behind the players from the 86th minute to the final wistle, not leaving early or just sitting in silence waiting to see if something would happen.

I think our main problem that needs fixing is the defence. The goal/opportunities drought has clearly ended as we have scored 6 goals in out last 3 games and created numerous opportunities. The problem is that we have also conceded 5 goals in those games. Marcus should be given another chance in goal and whatever mysterious reason Coppell has for not picking Bikey should either be explained or just fixed.

The cause of the blip is simple.

We are a predictable unit that the opposition have worked out.

yeah charlton really worked us out didnt they

it was two soft silly goals
same as the weekend

defence needs some pace, and one of either pearce or doobs should make way for bikey IMO

Read Coppells post match interview on defending!!!!!

Federici was routed to the spot on the fee kick to the far post again with goals conceded against Bristol City and Chartlton enough proof for me.

LOL

to be fair, that really isnt evidence for "teams having worked us out" as you stated
which is what i was arguing against
i was the one saying the defence needs looking at not you!

I'd have opted for (d) having a manager with the footballing intelligence (or lack thereof) of hughsies no.1 in charge.
