Derby (A) Predictions

by NR_Royal » 20 Apr 2009 15:53

If we win this, we are in a much more comfortable position for the playoffs, and I think we will pull this one off.

Scrappy game (as always), but we will churn out a 2-1 win.

I am going swimming! I will enjoy myself. I will be having fun. If I fancy a severe bout of depression I will tune in to BBCRB.

A predictable, boring 0-0 snorefest!

we'll be utter gash, i'll probably post something along the lines of "we are gash and won't make the payoffs", will get slated by dreamers and JM w a n k f e s t e r s, thread will degenerate into pooh is a tosser but come the end of the season i shall be proved correct. Various posters will throw insults in my general direction and i won't actually give a toss but i'll definitely get drawn into a slanging match because i always win, unlike our team...

I predict a few beers being drunk and a good old muvver brahn singsong.

I have invokes the wrath of god for pleading for a goal. Naturally a win will do but we seem to be trying to coast to the playoffs on borefest draws.

I'm still tempted to go into work early, leave early and bomb it up the M1. I hate being hopelessly and blindely being addicted to this club and this game.

Couldn't care less. Probably lose. We could do with three straight wins though to boost confidence for these poxy play-offs.

How about something along the lines of:

Dire Derby 1-0 Rubbish Reading

At some point our goal famine will come to an end and we'll spank somebody. Sadly, that'll probably occur next season rather than this. Derby need a win to secure survival and they'll get it against us. The first away game I will have missed in 2009 - because frankly I can't be honest to waste my leave on travelling to watch this shower - and the few hundred of you hardy souls making the trip have my deepest sympathies as you will have to suffer another uninspired RFC performance whilst being serenaded to the strains of '4-0 and you still went down' by the ever witless Derby support.

Derby 1-0 Reading

Bikey attempts a lazy backpass which no one can see coming especially old man USA, as ball slowly trickles into the goal in front of the Reading fans. :x :x

Anyway should be good away day anyway

Derby 1 Reading 0

Reading controlled 93% of possession whilst having 1 shot on target (Duberry from 110 yards) and 8 off target.

Despite not having won at home since 1986 and playing with three debutants from the girls B team Derby put out a stiffling midfield of H from Steps, Donald Sinden, Bobby Davro, The fat bloke from Airport and Sonia from EastEnders. The five "man" midfield had Reading running out of ideas as their direct play found out Shane Long's lack of space hoppers.

With the clock running low and the game seemingly headed for stalemate Samantha Janus rose at the near post and glanced in a deft header from a Ronald McDonald cross to send the Rams fans home happy.

Reading Reaction: "I just don't know what has happened. Before Christmas we played like Manchester United. Now we are like Manchester Abattoir. You can't fault the team's commitment. I thought the goal would come. I wish I was a tree. Leroy who? We were beaten by a Janus special" said beleaguered Coppell.

Derby Reaction: "Whoop whoop whoop" said Dougal from the Magic Roundabout.

This has a fantastic 1-3 royals victory written all over it.
Oops sorry that was the old Reading football team that actually cared ,played as a unit and sweated blood for the shirt and had a vague idea where the net was.
Fact is we are dire beyond belief and deserve 100% bugger all out of this season so an up for it Derby will win this at a canter...fact.
Prob 2 -0 Derby.
