In the event of Pens.....

Hahnemann or Federici ?
Worth keeping a crafty substitution in last minute of extra-time to bring Federici in for a shoot out ?(should he fail to score the winner of course :)

Neither. Hopefully the empty goal will throw off the Burnley players.

I would be happy if it goes to pens as it will mean we've actually won a game at home!

A Fed is more likely to save one and to score one!

Who would your 5 to take them be?

1) Long
2) Kitson
3) Matejovsky
4) Hunt
5) Tabb

I haven't watched the team training day in, day out like the coaching staff so wouldn't like to say who, out of the 25+ man squad, is the best at taking penalties.

I hope they're practising penalties. It'll be good for them to get the feel of a ball going into the net.

I thought this was a drawing competition.

Maybe if I start drawing the team scoring goals, it will come true on Tuesday.

Draw some marker onto the pitch for a route to goal.

Apologies to those who don't like facts, but Snowball/strap any stats to suggest who's better at savign pens?

Immaterial really though as one would hope in 120mins of footy Coppell would have used every fresh pair of legs available.

I doubt you'll get a lot as Federici's games for other clubs won't count as far as snowball is concerned so he's unlikely to have faced more than one penalty. Although if he has faced one or maybe two, given that is a worthless sample I expect snowball tod raw all sorts of conclusions. (oh and remember cup games don't count either)

Hahnemann has saved 3 or 4 over his time with us I think. But the majority have been scored.

I think Hahnemann got his big, fat hands on a couple in the Premier League, but the only other one I remember him saving was Neil Cox's against Watford.

I remember this being discussed while we were in the Prem just before he saved one and someone showed he'd saved a few, but not for a while. A few had just been missed as well.

I don't think it matters, He'd need to be the best penalty saver in the world given how unlikely I think we are to score more than 2

Kranjcar missed a penalty against us last season, but I think he hit the post.

My gut instinct says Federici is the better shot stopper.

My instinct says Hahnemann's gut is the better shot stopper, but it's close.
