It's Coppell and Madejski only in the press conference, it's on the Reading FC site.

He's been at the last 5 Reading games.........why would he do that?

I reckon this has been set up for weeks - Coppell was gonna go no matter what the result.

I actually agree with TBM

Reading is just the right fit for a man like Curbishley - just as it was for Coppell.

Coppell knows he's been going since last summer, and so has the chairman.

I would love it to be Curbs, but just can't see him coming to us. Hope so, but...

So why come to the last 5 Reading games? - he has no ties with the club and its not as if we've been playing lovely football.......turning up for 1 or 2 games then fair enough he's just watching football BUT turning up to the last 5 games, hmmmm, he's obviously interested!?

I think its gonna be Brendan Rogers, his odds have gone from 10/1 down to 1/3 since this morning, as my bank manager and I can testify the bookies aren't usually wrong!

I don't think this is a press conference to announce a new manager - I think this is a way for Steve to say goodbye properly. Remember all the who-ha surrounding the press conference to announce that he was staying on as manager?! Plus it will give the chairman more air time on the TV won't it!

They don't call press conferences to allow people to say goodbye properly.

Reading do - this is a joint press conference where JM & SC say what's happened and part of amicable terms.
