Oh and this is possible because he scored about 6 goals and got about 17 assists. Most of them pre Xmas. It is afterall supposed to be reflective of the season as a whole, not just the last 3 weeks. It's based on the whole season so it seems a bit generous but not ridiculous to rank him that highly.
He was on great form before that Ireland game: with wonderful crosses, goals and assists to match his energy and enthusiasm.
Since the contract was signed he has been crap at times, but still worked hard.

I'll be sad to see him go, but glad for him when he moves on to a bigger club.
