Just for you, she was the general manager of Reading FC back in the late eighties. She was responsible for introducing the membership card to combat the hooligan problem. I think she moved onto Birmingham. She wasn't exactly popular with the fans!

I thought the 'membership' card was vernacular for having slept with the GM (did that really happen?). Kinda like the mile high club. She doesn't have a wiki entry so I didn't get very far in my web searches. But good on her if she started that idea as it is still in use today. I saw another page say she was the marketing director at Reading FC, may have been before her GM appointment.
