The build up - Chelsea 1st Aug 2009

by Terminal Boardom » 28 Jul 2009 15:38

We can always rely on our friends at the Chronic to come up with some quality journalism.

"BRENDAN Rodgers will link up with former club Chelsea on Saturday when Reading complete their pre-season preparations with a glamour clash against the South London  outfit at the Madejski Stadium (3pm ko)."

Why do they bother?

That's truly terrible!!

I also note that Chelsea TV are showing the game live. I don't think I'll shell out to subscribe to that channel. However, I do hope that we get some of the tv money? :|

I used to look forward to our pre season friendlies. Chance to see the new signings get on in their first games.
Now they only ever contain the players from last season, so they aren't remotely as interesting.

My missus wants an Austin Healey - how much do they cost?

We're going to the match Saturday, then off to Newbury races Sunday.
