No. 10 HUNT confirmed as Reading player next year

by Z175 » 31 Jul 2009 17:11

Noel has taken his brother's shirt. Is this because S Hunt sneakily gave it to him before leaving, or is it a breathtaking demonstration of Rodger's world class model in action, following a powerpoint presentation on the motivational benefits of swapping shirt numbers?

In short, any ideas WHY?

Perhaps to confuse premier league scouts?

Because this now means that Noel can have the number 10 shirt, Stephen WILL leave but if he leaves next week then Noel can't have the number 10, it would go to a new signing which would mean Noel could never get it.

Basically one brother doing a favour to another because Stephen nows Noel wanted the 10.

or because 10 is a strikers number and 8 has been left by lita which is a wingers number so S hunt wants it... or they'll swap number

8 isnt a wingers number, and he has grabbed 11 not 8 anyway. 11 was availble to him in the past (before Oster had it as they signed at about the same time) but SHunt is a billing big time and wanted the number 10

This is just Noel taking the number because everyone knows that Stephen isnt going to be needing it

The No 10 shirt is one of the most highly sought after in a football team.
That's what I think, and I'm sticking to it.

Anyone noticed number 5 hasn't been registered?
Could be a defensive signing on the way.

Definitely.

NHunt: "Steven, can I have your shirt number?"

SHunt: "To be sure Bro, I've got no need for it as I'll be playin' for another club an' all, innit."

NHunt: "Nice one. Guinness?"

SHunt: "Only if you're paying."

Since when did a player make a decision on which other player gets his old shirt number? :|

When the player says to them, I really want that number and the gaffer says its ok for me to have it but I have to ask you for it as its yours at the moment

ReadingFC.co.uk New signing Ryan Bertrand has been given 24, while the Hunt brothers have swapped so Noel will now wear 10 and Stephen 11.
