There's certainly something of the damned-if-he-does towards Madejski amongst some here.

I've never really warmed to the guy, but some people on HNA certainly provoke some sympathy for him. If we don't splash £2m, he's a tight-wad with no ambition, but if we do splash it and he states the corollory of that view, he gets slagged for that instead!
