Last season Schards said we should get used to mid table football, i would like to see his views now.

we were in a good position, but at the mo we are slipping down a tad, however so are many other clubs.

Im not going off on the money chat again, but after 2 years in the prem gaining tv money, 2 years parachute payments, mass player sales and wage decrease coupled with retardedly high season ticket prices- it doesn't take a genius to work out we've never been in a better position. No one can claim the wage argument when we have a thin squad full of academy products.
We need more experience in this team and if we don't add that its going to be a long hard season with nights like tonight. Newcastle weren't out of second gear- it was not their class that beat us, just our lack of composure and poor organisation all over the park.

To be honest, wouldnt you rather be lingering in the 8-12th positions in the championship for two years, both seasons our team getting the experience they really need, and will benefit from, and then second year improving on that again, and by the third season really have a chance of going up with some good abilities around the team...

Go up this sesaon dodgily, have a dismal year in the premiership getting ass'whooped every game and our players getting nothing whatsoever from the games, and having the morale around the team and club at rock bottom, and then get relegated and struggle to get back into championship ways for even longer due to the fact the team will be scarred from the crappy year in the premiership?
