Cardiff Game

Just a heads-up for those who haven't realised, we're playing on Wednesday, not Tuesday - as it was still showing as Tuesday on the fixtures on here. Cheers then.

I only realised this yesterday when someone reminded me. Could have been embarrassing!

When did they move the fixture, or did hobnob get it wrong first time around?

Ah, yes, it's all coming back to me. We shouldn't have moved the game.

Maybe some of us weren't around when the move was announced!

I certainly hadn't realised it.

Thanks to the Murdoch brigade (albeit indirectly this time) that is yet another game we won't be able to make, as both of my kids have their own football commitments on Wednesday nights. That's two games already missed this season, at this rate it certainly won't be worth buying season tickets next time around and that's without factoring in the special offers that the club make to non-season ticket holders over the course of a season.

Thanx RL

I hadn't realised until I opened this thread.

Just like RoyalBlue...my boy has footy commitments on a Wednesday night....and just like RoyalBlue, this is yet another fixture that I have pre-paid for, that I am likely to miss.

All in all Reading FC...your ST's are becoming more and more of a liability,

Make a date and keep to it please

Is it Reading that is changing the date though? Can hardly blame them if it's the TV schedulers. The only other choice is not play in the League.

Reading had no say in the matter.

If a team plays on the Sunday they have the right to insist that a weekmatch is played on a Wed and the opposition have to agree.

I am sure if we played on a Sunday, we would expect the same .

It will be embarrassing when Chopra scores three past our defence...
