Lita's goal

*superb.

Can't fault that. Burst of pace, movement, defence were asleep, powerful finish.

Fair play to him for coming past the east stand with his hand up.

I hope Middlesborough fans are less racist than our own and he excels and breaks into the England squad

Doubt it - apart from that goal he didn't look that hot.

When have our fans ever been racist? This will be my 16th season and I can proudly say I have never heard any racism from RFC fans.

Was nice to see a good goal well received by the East Stand. Shame it wasn't us scoring.

I'm a bit confused, are we supposed to cheer everyone who scores against us now?

It was oxf*rd embarassing how much the crowd kissed Lita's arse today.

Totally agree! Why did people stand up and clap him?! If he'd have refused to celebrate, I'd understand. But he was w*nking himself off after he scored!

I will always repsect all the 106 team and I clapped as him name was read out today. But there's a limit! He wasn't that loyal a servent to us. And his attitude left a lot to be desired!

just saying for a player who is, let's be honest, a bit shit , caused a load of trouble and couldn't get anywhere near the team for long periods when he was here, being greeted like the prodigal son sums up the retardness of large sections of our support.

I was bloody glad to see him go and bloody furious when he scored against us, but the 'we love Leroy' brigade feel its ok to cheer a goal against our team? it's bollocks.

was there anything else to cheer about then?

Perhaps some people thought he'd done well with his goal and wanted to applaud him as an ex-member of our playing staff, and one who can still score goals, unlike our current players.

So come on, own up. Were you one of the fcking tssers who cheared Lita for scoring against us?

And you wonder why opposition fans chant "Your support is fcking shit"

I didn't cheer him or chant his name but it was a top quality goal and I thought a dignified respectful celebration .......how we'd wish he'd been playing for us today

That's because after JM has finished cutting his cloth and balancing the books, there aren't any Reading arses left that are worth kissing!

Given the state of play today I admit to acknowledging Lita's response. And to be quite honest, particularly in the second half, there wasn't a great deal to acknowledge on the Reading side of the fence.

If that puts me in the tosser bracket Tony, then crack on.

As for our support..... loudest cheers of the day were for the two attempts late on. Says it all really. Still, as I've said in another post, won't stop me from taking a day off work for the Rangers game. Priceless.

How is listing a few ex-Reading players justifying the argument that Reading fans are racist? I don't understand your point at all - Oster isn't even black!

On the evidence of today Lita was/is not hated by the fans, neither was Bikey and you forget that Gilkes and Shaka are two RFC legends.
