I think the fans are overall a bit divided. I feel there are a few groups, there seems to the be a few factions of the Rodgers Out brigade, one of which seems to be the most popular is comprised of bitter Coppelites who are desperate to see him fail just to feel better. I think everyone should accept the fact that Coppel is gone and it was his decision. We should be give Rogers until Christmas and if we are out of relegation zone then we should keep him going. Madejski has a knack of getting good managers and we should be thankful because most clubs struggle to get the kind of managers we have been blessed with lately. I think the numbers are still decent but the club will have to take drastic measures to get people coming if the results we are getting are more or less the same. In these dark times is when Reading fans really come out into their own level and really give the club a good voice and representation. Overall I would give the fans a ranking of 7.2 out of 10. Rodgers a 6.5 out of 10 (needs improvement) and Madejski & Co 5.9 out of 10.

I think I will give him a vote of confidence and my full backing because really the last thing he needs with the side struggling is the main fan base on his back all day everyday.

If we are still lumbering about the nether reaches of the CCC and results / performances have shown no noticeable improvement, I will give him until the end of November 2009. That's 6 months to produce world class football. It also gives time for the management to appoint a new man to give him time to review the squad before the transfer window opens.

Does anyone remember the retainer rumour that did the rounds before Burns was sacked? Most of the speculation was on the FSB returning only it was Pardew. Will someone be lined up in waiting? AT least with Pardew he had Gorman to assist him. What does Big Watch Man have? Tracey Austin's brother

Full support and backing. He's learning on the job - it's the board's 'fault' (if fault it is) that they employed such an inexperienced, out of depth manager just as the money and the best players started disappearing down the plughole. Therefore, it's up to them to back him. I back him on the assumption that he's a quick learner. By Christmas I expect us to have started picking up enough points to edge away from the drop. If not, I'd review the situation just before the transfer window open. Whether he goes then will depend on his plans for dealing with the situation. Let's hope there isn't a situation to deal with.

Short-sighted, unrealistic and childish.

Top post! I would move Madejski up to a 6.7, but that's just me.

Hehe good post.

However as one of the bitterest Coppellites who didn't even want BR to come I am proud to be arguably the loudest pro-Rodgers voice on HNA at the mo.

Funny old thing, HNA.

:P

I'm unconvinced at the moment, but he still has my full support as he is the man in charge. For me he needs a bit longer before I decide he's not the right man. :?
